About the Role
We are seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our warm and vibrant primary school in West Drayton. The successful candidate will support class teachers in creating a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment for our pupils.
Key Responsibilities
* Support teaching and learning across the primary age range
* Work with individuals and small groups to reinforce learning
* Assist in the delivery of high-quality classroom activities and interventions
* Help maintain a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment
* Provide support for pupils with additional educational needs
* Build strong, positive relationships with pupils, staff, and parents
* Contribute to the wider life of the school
Requirements
* Proven experience as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school
* Strong understanding of the national curriculum and effective support strategies
* Excellent communication and teamwork skills
* A patient, caring, and professional approach
* Level 2 or Level 3 TA qualification (or equivalent) highly desirable
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
* Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain one)

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
