Salary: GBP110 - GBP140 per day (higher rates of pay available for QTS qualified teachers)

TeacherActive are proud to be working with a large number of Secondary Schools in Glastonbury and the local area. We are actively recruiting for Cover Supervisors to support our school network with quality and consistent staff. I am looking for a Cover Supervisor for a Research School in the area that are looking for somebody who is consistent and reliable and can support the school in a multitude of subjects where the need is. Cover with teaching experience is preferable but not a must.
Our Cover Supervisors play a vital role in schools, whether on a day to day, long-term or permanent basis. The role of a Cover Supervisor doesn t include planning and preparation, however strong communication and classroom management skills are a must.
The successful Cover Supervisor will have:
Experience teaching or supervising students
Be confident in their ability to manage a class of students within the age range 11 to 16+
Be able to manage behaviour in the classroom to ensure students remain engaged
Be flexible to work throughout the school within different departments
