The role of Cloud Security Consultant involves assessing cloud security posture, designing security solutions, identifying efficiency improvements, and driving automation initiatives.
This role supports capabilities aligned with our cloud security vision, enabling HSBC to make strategic and operational decisions regarding cybersecurity and business objectives.

In this role, you will:
1. Contribute to the implementation and development of the Wiz CNAPP tool, including automation, governance, and business analysis.
2. Recommend configuration changes to improve cloud security assessment effectiveness and usability.
3. Utilize CNAPP capabilities for real-time threat monitoring, misconfiguration detection, and risk management, developing dashboards and reports for compliance tracking.
4. Work cross-functionally to improve security posture using Wiz insights and reporting.
5. Participate in Cloud Security Assessments, scoring initiatives, controls, and baselines.
6. Collaborate with cloud platform engineers, architects, and stakeholders to ensure best practices and compliance with HSBC controls.
7. Drive continuous improvement of security assessments and automated processes to ensure high-quality outcomes.
8. Engage with cloud security SMEs across teams.
Requirements to succeed:
1. Hands-on experience with CNAPP platforms, including Wiz capabilities.
2. Strong understanding of cloud security principles, compliance frameworks (e.g., CIS, NIST), and risk management.
3. Experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, or Alibaba Cloud.
4. Cybersecurity experience managing large cloud-based asset estates.
5. Experience ensuring cloud projects adhere to security policies and standards.
