Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Candidate Specification We are on the hunt for a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant who holds: A 1st or 2:1 degree in Education, Psychology, English, or a similar child-focused subject from a Russell Group or top-30 university Strong GCSE and A-Level results, especially in English and Maths Experience working with children—perhaps through tutoring, mentoring, babysitting, or time spent in schools (Desirable) Excellent communication skills and a natural flair for working with both children and adults As a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant, you must be warm, patient, and encouraging personality someone who can make a child feel seen, heard, and safe Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant – Role Responsibilities Your days as a Graduate Primary Teaching Assistant will be full of laughter and purpose You’ll work closely with the class teacher to create a warm, welcoming environment and support pupils across all learning levels.
