* Type: Bank Shifts (as and when required)
* Salary: Up to £20.00 per hour (depending on experience, training, and qualification)
Overview
The Manor Hospital, part of Circle Health Group, Britain’s leading independent healthcare provider, is seeking a Painter and Decorator to join their Engineering team. This role involves providing painting and decorating services across the hospital's internal and external facilities, including routine refurbishment and major redecoration projects.
Responsibilities
* Provide painting and decorating services for internal and external hospital facilities.
* Perform touch-ups and fabric refurbishment on a reactive and scheduled basis.
* Advise on redecoration and fabric repair requirements.
* Ensure redecoration complies with property lease obligations, including exterior redecoration every 5 years and interior every 7 years, with internal clinical areas redecorated at least once every ten years.
* Complete all mandatory training requirements.
Candidate Requirements
* Current CSCS card at appropriate level.
* Training in working at heights, including Pasma/Ladder use.
* Ability to hang various wall coverings.
* Self-motivated with a methodical approach.
* Qualifications or experience in engineering, painting, or decorating, including previous contractor collaboration experience.
* Understanding of COSHH regulations and health and safety guidelines.
* Experience in painting, decorating, and minor building works.
* Driving license is essential.
