Emotional Health & Wellbeing Practitioner
Location: Birmingham
Role Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Emotional Health & Wellbeing Practitioner to join our team. In this role, you will provide low‑intensity support to children, young people, and young adults within our Emotional Health & Wellbeing services, utilizing a brief intervention framework.
Key Responsibilities
* Support children, young people, and young adults across our Emotional Health & Wellbeing services.
* Offer low‑intensity support under a brief intervention framework.
Experience and Skills Required
* Proven experience working with parents, families, children, and young people.
* Leadership experience.
* Experience in supporting families dealing with complex and sensitive issues through advice and advocacy.
* Strong relationship‑building skills.
* Excellent negotiation and influencing skills.
* Effective problem‑solving abilities.
* Ability to plan and manage your own workload.
Essential Requirements
* A current DBS on the update service or willingness to undergo one.
* On‑site working to best support clients.
* A valid driving licence, access to a car, and willingness to travel across the region.
