Accounts and Administration Manager Swindon Monday – Friday - 07.45am – 4.45pm Permanent Salary is dependent on experience We are currently recruiting for an Accounts and Administrator Manager to join our client based in Swindon. Key Responsibilities: General Finance Administration * Extensive knowledge and comprehension of Sage 50 accounting software * Maintain accurate supplier and client account records * Ensure all purchase orders are up-to-date and correct * Monitor and maintain records of bad debts and retentions * Complete bank reconciliations and allocate transactions correctly * Prepare monthly Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss reports * Processing new customer accounts and background credit checks Administration & Ad Hoc Duties * Build a good working relationship with suppliers * Daily managing, processing and recording job cards as requested by the sales team * Proactively manage sourcing, contracting and compliance for all direct goods and service provisions, embedding a best in class procurement governance framework * Organising and processing import and export of goods * Organising dispatch of domestic goods * Assist in processing monthly reports * Experience in managing and keeping up to date with accreditation such as ISO-9001, VCA, etc. The Person * At least 5 years of experience in a finance or accounts-based role * Strong working knowledge of Sage50 accounting software * Good Excel skills and general IT proficiency * High attention to detail and excellent organisational skills * Confident communicator who can work independently and within a team Benefits * Free on-site parking By applying for this role you give permission for Purely Recruitment to submit your personal information contained within your CV or any other relevant information provided in order for the prospective employer to review your application for the specific role applied for.
