✅ Role Overview
As a Teaching Assistant, you will support pupils aged 11–16 across a range of subjects and learning levels. You’ll work closely with teachers and support staff to help students reach their full potential in both mainstream classrooms and the on-site ALN centre.
Key Responsibilities
Mainstream:
Supporting learners during lessons and small‑group activities
Assisting with behaviour support and classroom management
Helping pupils who require additional guidance or differentiated learning
Preparing learning resources and supporting lesson delivery
ALN Provision:
Providing tailored 1:1 or small‑group support
Assisting pupils with additional learning, emotional or behavioural needs
Collaborating with SENCOs and external professionals
Promoting independence, confidence and emotional wellbeing

£14.30 per hour (PAYE)

✅ Ideal Candidate
To be successful, you ideally will have:
Experience working with children or young people (school, coaching, childcare or youth work)
Qualifications in education, childcare or related fields (desirable)
Ability to drive (highly beneficial due to location)
Welsh language skills (desirable + valued by the school)
A positive attitude, patience and strong communication skills
A genuine passion for supporting inclusive education
