Duties as English Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging English lessons across KS3–KS4, tailored to a range of abilities and needs.
* Create a nurturing, structured learning environment that supports emotional wellbeing and positive behaviour.
* Work closely with support staff, SENCOs, and external agencies to implement personalised learning plans.
* Track progress and provide constructive feedback to help every learner succeed.
Ideal English Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS or QTLS) and strong subject knowledge in English.
* Experience teaching students with SEMH needs or within alternative provisions is highly desirable.
* Excellent behaviour management skills, patience, and a compassionate approach as an English Teacher.
* Ability to adapt teaching strategies to meet individual learning styles.
