Overview
As a Registered Nurse, you will ensure that the highest standard of clinical care is delivered to residents at all times, within company policies and procedures and the NMC Code of Conduct, promoting each person’s privacy, dignity and independence.
This is a busy, varied and rewarding role which will give you the autonomy to care for our residents, whether you are monitoring a resident’s blood sugar levels, administering medication, giving a detailed handover to the team on the next shift, or assisting a resident at the end of life. You will be fully supported and be working in a fantastic team.
Responsibilities
* Work with the management team and other trained nurses in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating quality nursing care.
* Ensure residents are enabled to fully participate in decisions affecting their lives, embracing the philosophy of person-centred care.
* Explore all options to ensure residents’ decisions and choices are met.
* Create a happy, caring and safe atmosphere; putting residents’ needs first and respect differences.
* Be part of a dedicated team delivering compassionate care and ensuring residents’ welfare.
* Maintain an active NMC registration (PIN) and a right to work in the UK.
Qualifications
* Qualified nurse with active NMC registration (PIN number).
* Right to work in the UK.
* Flexible, organised, hardworking and with a caring attitude, able to work as part of a dedicated team, showing care and compassion.
* DBS check (enhanced).
