Hotel | Manchester City Center | Permanent | Full-time
Salary: 33k - 35k
We are looking for a Sous Chef to oversee a busy kitchen operation at a hotel. This reputable holiday operator offers a high-quality lifestyle opportunity and a wonderful working environment. You will be responsible for delivering an excellent food experience, guest service, and maximizing the potential of the Food & Beverage departments. You will foster an environment that enables your team to perform at their best through high performance and fulfillment, creating memorable experiences for our guests and providing opportunities for your team.
Sous Chef Role Responsibilities:
* Manage the kitchen in the absence of the head chef
* Ensure all food service is of high quality
* Develop and mentor team members to optimize their performance
* Maintain high operational standards within kitchen operations
* Prioritize health and safety, ensuring compliance with legislation
Qualifications & Experience (Essential):
* Operational knowledge within a kitchen environment with ideas to improve standards
* Ability to lead from the front and communicate effectively under pressure
* Experience coaching team members and developing skills
* Minimum Level 2 Food Safety certification
* Up-to-date Allergens certificate
