About the role
As an Employment Specialist, you will be an integral part of our dynamic team, working closely under the guidance of the Senior Employment Specialist. This ground breaking initiative aims to break down barriers and provide unprecedented opportunities for individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency to regain their independence through sustainable employment.
What you’ll do:
* Collaborate closely with individuals facing significant barriers to employment due to drug and alcohol dependency.
* Provide personalised employment support, guidance, and mentoring to empower individuals on their journey toward vocational rehabilitation.
* Facilitate workshops, job readiness training, and mock interviews to enhance participants' skills and confidence.
* Forge strong partnerships with local employers, building a network of job opportunities and fostering a supportive community for our participants.
* Evaluate program effectiveness, identify areas for improvement, and contribute to the development of innovative strategies to maximise outcomes.
Please note this role is based in Wimbourne, Dorset.
About you
* A proven track record in the recruitment industry is desirable but not essential, showcasing your exceptional talent for identifying and matching candidates to suitable roles.
* Passion for social impact and a strong desire to support individuals in overcoming employment barriers.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills, enabling you to build rapport and trust with diverse individuals from various backgrounds.
* Resilience and adaptability, as you navigate the challenges and complexities associated with drug and alcohol dependency.
* The ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team, sharing ideas and best practices to achieve collective success.
