Are you a Structural Engineer with experience in Temporary Works?
Looking to work on challenging construction projects while progressing toward Chartership?
An exciting opportunity has arisen to join a growing engineering consultancy based in Maidstone.
What You'll Be Doing
You will be involved in the design and delivery of temporary works solutions across a variety of construction and infrastructure projects.
Your responsibilities will include:
* Designing temporary works structures – propping, shoring, scaffolding and excavation support
* Producing structural calculations and reports in accordance with Eurocodes
* Preparing technical drawings and design details using AutoCAD or similar software
* Collaborating with contractors, project managers and site teams
* Attending site visits and inspections when required
* Supporting design reviews and project coordination
What We're Looking For
You may be a great fit if you have:
* A Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
* Around 3‑6 years' experience in structural or temporary works design
* Knowledge of Eurocodes and BS5975 Temporary Works procedures
* Experience with structural analysis and CAD software
* Working toward Chartered Engineer status (ICE or IStructE) (desirable)
