Job Description Job Title: Head of Creative Content & Production Location: London, UK (Hybrid) Reports to: Creative Director (Brand) & Head of Marketing (BAU) Role Summary August is seeking a hands-on creative leader to own the end-to-end production of all visual and brand content across the organisation. This is fundamentally a production and creative direction role — you will be responsible for how August looks and feels across every channel, from conceiving campaigns to directing photoshoots and overseeing video production. You will define the visual language of the brand, lead all shoot production across our property collections, and build a scalable content operation that delivers consistently premium output. Operating within a dual-reporting structure, you will partner with the Creative Director on brand-led campaigns while ensuring BAU content drives engagement, demand, and conversion. Note: This is not an editorial, copywriting, or social media management role. We are looking for a creative head of-level operator with deep expertise in visual production — shoots, campaigns, art direction, and content systems. 3. Core Responsibilities Visual Production & Creative Direction (Primary Focus): Lead and direct all photography and video shoots across August's property collections — from pre-production planning and creative briefing through to post-production sign-off. Own the visual identity of the brand in practice: art direction, shoot styling, casting, and creative execution across all content formats. Develop and maintain a consistent visual framework — shot lists, brand guidelines, aesthetic standards — that scales across multiple markets and properties. Commission and manage a trusted network of photographers, videographers, stylists, and production partners. Oversee post-production workflows: editing, retouching, asset management, and delivery to internal teams. Oversee and manage content budget Campaign Development & Execution: Concept and execute multi-channel campaigns from creative brief through to final delivery — spanning digital, social, print, and OOH. Collaborate with the Creative Director on high-impact brand campaigns that elevate August's market position and drive member acquisition. Ensure all campaign content is visually cohesive, on-brand, and adapted appropriately for each regional market. Define the creative framework for seasonal and product launches, working cross-functionally with marketing and sales teams. Content Strategy & Operations: Define and own the content production calendar, ensuring a consistent pipeline of high-quality assets across all channels and markets. Build and manage a scalable BAU content engine supporting daily marketing needs, product launches, and campaigns. Own and manage the content production budget, forecasting spend and optimising resource allocation across workstreams. Develop localisation strategies to ensure content is culturally relevant across key regional markets Develop and manage social media strategy Team & Stakeholder Leadership: Build, mentor, and inspire a multidisciplinary content and production team as the Creative function grows. Manage relationships with external partners, agencies, and collaborators — maintaining quality, timelines, and budgets. Serve as the key bridge between Creative and Marketing, ensuring brand consistency across all touchpoints. Align content outputs with broader commercial objectives and product priorities. 4. Skills & Experience Essential (Non-Negotiable): 8 years' experience in creative production, content direction, or art direction — with at least 3 years in a leadership Demonstrable track record directing photoshoots and video productions end-to-end, with a strong portfolio of visual work. Deep expertise in visual brand building: art direction, shoot production, post-production, and asset management. Proven ability to concept and execute multi-channel campaigns from brief to delivery. Strong understanding of production workflows, timelines, and budgets across multiple formats and markets. Ability to operate effectively in a matrix or dual-reporting structure. Global mindset with experience adapting visual content for diverse markets. Strong leadership capability with experience building or managing creative teams.
