Job Description:
IMH is currently looking for a MIG Welder for our well established client in the area of Doncaster
Key Duties and Responsibilities
* Set up and operate MIG welding equipment according to job requirements
* Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and welding symbols
* Weld steel, aluminum, or stainless steel components to specified tolerances
* Prepare materials by measuring, cutting, grinding, and cleaning surfaces
* Inspect finished welds for accuracy, strength, and appearance
* Perform basic maintenance on welding equipment and tools
* Follow safety procedures, including proper use of PPE
* Maintain a clean and organized work area
* Work with supervisors and team members to meet production goals
* Repair or rework welds as needed to meet quality standards
Required Skills and Abilities
* Proficiency in MIG welding techniques
* Ability to read and understand blueprints and technical drawings
* Strong hand-eye coordination and attention to detail
* Knowledge of welding safety practices and procedures
* Ability to use measuring tools (tape measures, calipers, gauges)
* Basic knowledge of metal properties and fabrication methods
* Problem-solving skills and mechanical aptitude
* Ability to work independently or as part of a team
Hours and Pay
* Mon-Thurs 07:30am to 16:00 pm
* Friday 07:30am to 13:00pm
* £17 ph
