Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to lead our estimating team in delivering accurate and timely cost estimates for our SMALL WORKS projects. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in project management and estimation within the COMMERCIAL /INDUSTRIAL sectors being SCHOOLS,FACTORIES,OFFICES,RETAIL,HOTELS.
The Estimating Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that projects are delivered on budget and on schedule capturing variations and ongoing additional works.
Responsibilities
* Oversee the estimating process for projects, ensuring accuracy and completeness of estimates.
* Manage Projects upon award.
* Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other staff to gather necessary information for cost estimation.
* Manage the client and team on site
* Maintain relationships with subcontractors and suppliers to obtain competitive pricing for materials and services.
* Ensure compliance with company policies and industry standards throughout the estimating process.
Experience
* Proven experience in an estimating role within the field of the industry is essential.
* Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively under tight deadlines IE SCHOOL TERM TIMES
* Excellent analytical skills with attention to detail, ensuring accuracy in all estimations.
