Accounts Assistant

Salary: £28,000 - £34,000 depending on experience

Summary
Our client is looking to appoint an Accounts Assistant, on a full time permanent basis to be based near Muir of Ord. This is an excellent career opportunity in a varied and interesting role within a small and supportive team. Reporting to the Management Accountant, duties include:
* Providing comprehensive accounts support to the team including processing and reconciling the purchase ledger.
* Matching and inputting invoices for payment, dealing with any discrepancies and enquiries from suppliers.
* Matching goods received notes on the system.
* Cashbook reconciliations.
* Assisting with budgeting.
* Bank reconciliations.
* Managing petty cash and expenses.
* CIS Administration.
* Updating and maintaining accurate finance records.
* Daily use of MS office and financial software systems.
* General project accounts duties in support of the team.
Person specification
* Strong accounts/bookkeeping skills.
* Previous experience in a similar accounts role preferred.
* Experience of CIS administration preferred but not essential.
* Ability to work with accuracy and attention to detail.
* Strong IT skills including MS Office and financial software systems.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
* Ability to manage a busy and varied workload.
