The Clinical Support Worker will undertake high quality, caring and compassionate personal care and associated duties under the direction and supervision of the registered professional and working as part of the multi‑disciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
* Support the registered professional in the delivery of safe, effective, compassionate care to patients and their relatives.
* Support and assist healthcare professionals such as nurses, doctors and other integrated professionals in the delivery of quality patient care and the general well‑being and comfort of patients.
* Work different shift patterns – Days, Twilights, Nights and Weekends.
* Work at both Community Hospitals – Campion Ward at Leamington Rehab (CV346SR) and Nicol Unit (Nicol will be your base).
* Contribute to smooth running of a busy department through good organisational skills and ability to work flexibly and efficiently on one’s own initiative.
* Maintain excellent communication and interpersonal skills; be reliable and work well in a team.
Qualifications and Experience
Previous experience within a health care setting is desired but not essential for the right candidate. This position is suitable for anyone looking to 'start' a career in healthcare or alternatively someone who is looking to 'develop' their career as a support worker.
