Position
As a Portfolio Controller, you will play a critical role in enabling the successful delivery of large, complex programmes by leading teams and embedding strong programme controls across Integrated Delivery Teams (IDTs). You will be fully responsible for the control of the Portfolio and lead the controls function to ensure the overall Portfolio is deliverable. You will manage risk, resource de‑confliction, prioritisation, conflict and dependencies across the Portfolio to meet business objectives.
Your Responsibilities
- Manage the allocation of projects/programmes into the Portfolio (in partnership with the Portfolio Manager) and prioritise projects to understand impacts and make appropriate decisions.
- Lead the controllers in the monthly project and programme controls lifecycle ensuring they understand risk, prioritisation, impact and conflicts.
- Contribute to the business planning processes, for example OBP and budgeting, to understand the impact on the Portfolio.
- Develop and maintain positive engagement with Portfolio Manager and Project/Programme Managers within the Portfolio.

Essential Qualifications
- ECITB L6 Diploma in Project Controls practice and techniques (RQF) or equivalent.
- Recognised expert in the job area typically obtained through advanced education and work experience, called on by senior leaders for advice and guidance across the business.

This role is 37 hours per week based at our Farnborough site. Hybrid working patterns are available with a minimum average site attendance of 3 days per week.
