Your Future Team:
The Electrical Engineer will be working as part of a multi-disciplinary engineering team within the Approving Authority, the primary purpose of the role is to directly support current operations and future programmes. Supporting nuclear facilities & the delivery of services across both Client Sites near Helensburgh.
Your Missions
* Manage Infrastructure Design Substantiation documents.
* Handle design changes/concessions.
* Present Design substantiations to safety committees.
* Develop EIMT Schedule, procedures, and results.
* Produce Periodic Review of Safety reports.
* ️ Advise internal and external stakeholders.
* ️♂️ Conduct Independent Technical Review.
* ️ Apply engineering knowledge to nuclear/high-risk environments.
* ️ Justify civil/structural design modifications.
* Review reports and safety submissions.
* Check and review calculations and technical documents.

Qualifications
* Experience in the design assessment of electrical installations in a HV or LV environment
* ⚡ Theoretical and practical skills across concept, detailed design, and construction stages for electrical engineering projects.
* ️ Experience in assessing electrical plant and equipment for hazards.
* Authoring technical justifications for electrical design modifications in high hazard industries.
* Experience in multi-discipline projects providing electrical engineering input.
* ️ Experienced in regulated environments.
* ️ Familiarity with safety case development techniques like HAZID/HAZOP studies.
* Worked in the UK nuclear industry (energy or defense), especially in safety-related structures, systems, and components.
Additional Information
* Hybrid role with visits to client site near Helensburgh.
* Security Clearance: SC, UK National.
* BEng in electrical engineering or equivalent experience.
* Chartered Engineer (CEng) status or equivalent experience.
