As we continue to expand, we’re seeking a motivated Structural Timber Engineer to join our team and help deliver exceptional projects.
Role Overview
This is a full‑time, on‑site role for a Structural Timber Engineer based in Dungannon. You will play a key role in the technical delivery of our projects, ensuring designs are safe, efficient, and innovative.
Working closely with our in‑house design and production teams, as well as project architects and engineers, you’ll help bring unique timber structures from concept through to completion.
Responsibilities
* Design and analyse structural mass timber systems.
* Carry out structural calculations, modelling, and analysis to meet project requirements.
* Produce detailed technical drawings using Cadwork software.
* Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to deliver coordinated designs.
* Provide engineering support during manufacture and on‑site installation.
* Ensure compliance with Eurocodes & building regulations.
* Contribute to the development of sustainable, innovative timber solutions.
Qualifications & Skills
* Degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
* Strong knowledge of structural analysis and Eurocodes.
* Proficiency in structural software (e.g., Cadwork & Acord).
* Excellent problem‑solving and analytical skills.
* Ability to work effectively in a team‑oriented environment.
* Previous experience in timber engineering or construction is highly desirable.
