Overview
A well-established and highly regarded firm of Insolvency Practitioners in Bolton is seeking an experienced Corporate Recovery Senior to join its growing corporate insolvency team. This is an excellent opportunity for a capable insolvency professional to take ownership of a varied corporate caseload while working within a supportive and respected practice.
The Role
As a Corporate Recovery Senior, you will manage a portfolio of corporate insolvency cases, taking responsibility for progressing matters efficiently from appointment through to closure. You will work closely with Insolvency Practitioners and junior team members, providing technical support and ensuring cases are administered in line with statutory and regulatory requirements.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage a mixed caseload of corporate insolvency appointments, including CVLs, MVLs, administrations and liquidations
* Progress cases from appointment through to closure in a timely and compliant manner
* Draft statutory documentation and reports for creditors, directors, and stakeholders
* Liaise with directors, creditors, solicitors, agents and other third parties
* Ensure full compliance with insolvency legislation and internal procedures
* Assist with mentoring and supporting junior team members
* Identify and deal with technical and complex case issues
* Work closely with IPs to ensure efficient case progression and client service
Candidate Requirements
* Proven experience in corporate insolvency / corporate recovery
* Experience managing corporate cases independently from appointment to closure
* Strong technical knowledge of insolvency legislation and procedures
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
* Highly organised with the ability to manage deadlines and competing priorities
* CPI or similar insolvency qualification advantageous but not essential
