Scope of the Role
As an Electronic Design Engineer, you'll be responsible for owning electronics design within highly integrated electromechanical products, taking concepts through to technical file transfer.
* Lead schematic design, PCB layout oversight, debugging and hands-on board bring-up
* Own electronics design data, revision control and change processes
* Collaborate on electromechanical design with mechanical and software engineers
* Drive electronics design for manufacture, assembly, test and production transfer
* Support risk management activities within regulated electro-mechanical systems
Key Skills and Experience Required
* Proven experience as an Electronic Design Engineer delivering products into manufacture
* Professional schematic capture and PCB design for shipped electro-mechanical systems
* Hands-on debugging, fault-finding and modification of electronic assemblies
* Experience working in regulated environments with documentation and change control
* Strong collaboration skills with Mechatronics Engineer, mechanical and software peers
Salary and Benefits
* £60,000 to £65,000 basic salary
* Hybrid working with a minimum of two days per week on-site in Leeds
