Your Next Role in a Primary School – No Degree Required
Think you need a teaching degree to work in a primary school? Not quite.
From classroom Teaching Assistants to Learning Mentors, SEN Support to Pupil Intervention staff, there are so many ways to make a real difference in a primary setting. If you’ve got patience, people skills, and a genuine love for helping children grow, you’re already halfway there.
Primary schools are all about those lightbulb moments. Supporting a child as they master phonics, helping a shy pupil find their confidence, guiding a lively Year 4 class back on track after lunch. It’s busy, brilliant, and never boring.
At Protocol Education, we match caring, capable people with primary roles where they can thrive. Whether you’re working 1:1 with a pupil who needs extra reassurance, supporting small group interventions in maths and reading, or keeping the classroom running smoothly alongside the teacher, we’ll find the right fit for you.
