This is a fantastic role with a rapidly growing insurer.
The business are going through a period of change, some of which includes bringing compliance 'in-house'. As such, you will be in a high-profile position within the organisation, tasked with building a team of around 8 compliance specialists whilst also:
* Building a regulatory engagement programme
* Producing an assurance plan
* Providing compliance advice to the business
* Ensuring that conduct risk is managed, offering independent 2nd line review
* Maintaining and delivering a financial crime framework
* Coordinating regulatory engagement activity
* Board reporting
The company has a highly-collaborative approach to working and a positive culture. The role is remote.
Due to the seniority of the position, it is essential that you have:
* A detailed knowledge of personal lines insurance and PRA / FCA regulation
* Have held / hold SMF16
* Have worked on change projects
* Have managed teams, ideally larger than 4 people
