We are now on the search for a Head of Marketing to work across our Select Offshore brand. The successful candidate will oversee the Brand Development, External Communications, Sales Facilitation and Reputation Management of the business in order to maximise engagement with both clients and candidates in our target markets, thereby generating more profitable business.
What will you do?
* Plan, develop and implement effective marketing communication campaigns, including via our CRM system, outreach campaigns
* Utilise the full marketing mix for the company’s marketing communications (direct mail, advertising, social media, events, campaigns, and so on)
* Copywriting for some marketing collateral – mainly brochures, letters, emails and websites
* Providing a useful style guide for colleagues for their own personal LinkedIn posts
* Monitoring ongoing campaign spend against the Marketing budget, keeping accurate records and highlighting where variances occur
* Producing an accurate summary of total spend at the end of each marketing campaign
* Undertaking detailed ongoing analysis of marketing campaigns to ensure targets are met
* Assisting in the production of competitor analysis and reporting, with particular reference to pricing, presentation and promotion
* Produce monthly podcasts, as recorded by the Directors
* Support Consultants occasionally on presentations and events, and with collateral for presentations
* Ensure a thorough understanding of our customer profiles and behaviours, as well as brand values
* Oversee external communication to ensure brand consistency, such as job adverts, social media, eshots, etc
* Manage specialist suppliers where agreed (e.g. videographer for the Podcast)
* Ensure all marketing activity is GDPR compliant
* Manage website hosting, content, SEO and specialist suppliers
* Communication with our Team Leaders to understand their aims and translate them into marketing collateral
* Maintain and execute a marketing calendar that covers all channels and reflects industry events, national events and facilitates sales campaigns
What are we looking for?
* A degree in Marketing would be advantageous, as would a CIM qualification
* Previous experience within a similar role
* Strong project management experience
* Excellent organisational skills
* Ability to use spreadsheets to analyse data and spot trends
* A strong understanding of customer segmentation
* Excellent written communication skills
* Project planning skills
* A proactive approach to work
* Good understanding of novel marketing platforms and technology
* Able to understand the dynamics of recruitment sales, how profitability is achieved and the context in which clients/candidates work
