Nelson Permanent Placements is working with our client to recruit a bid writer with experience within frameworks to join a reputable, fast-growing, innovative, privately owned construction company. Operating similarly to a tier 1 company yet still maintaining a personal touch, the candidate will focus on producing bids within the commercial, living, education, and healthcare sectors.
Requirements:
* Professionally qualified within this discipline
* Proven track record of managing the bid process
* Experienced in the construction field
* Proficient in Microsoft Office
* Full UK Driving Licence
Key Duties:
* Producing professionally written content that emphasizes the company’s values
* Developing value propositions tailored to the client base
* Researching clients to prioritize bid-winning documents
* Leading planning and development sessions
* Creating response structures leading to quality responses aligned with the client’s vision and requirements
* Developing case studies to aid the bid process
* Producing tailored proposal content for multiple sectors
* Assimilating relevant data using various tools
* Collaborating with supply chain and operational teams
* Ensuring compliance is maintained
* Networking and building relationships
Qualifications:
* Certified to APMP Foundation or Practitioner Level (desirable)
* Advanced MS Word skills and proficiency in MS Office
