*Overview*We are seeking a skilled and motivated Solar Electrician with proven experience to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting photovoltaic (PV) solar energy systems, primarily on ground-mounted sites. Your hands-on skills and technical knowledge will drive successful project completion and customer satisfaction.*Duties** Install solar PV systems on ground-mounted locations, ensuring proper fixture installation and secure mounting.* Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and electrical diagrams to accurately execute system layouts.* Connect high voltage and low voltage wiring according to NEC (National Electrical Code) standards, ensuring safe and reliable electrical connections.* Troubleshoot electrical issues using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment to diagnose system faults efficiently.* Perform system commissioning, including inverter connections, grounding, and testing of electrical components.* Maintain detailed documentation of installation processes, inspections, and system configurations for quality assurance.*Requirements** Proven experience as a commercial electrician with a focus on solar systems or related electrical work.* Strong understanding of high voltage (HV) and low voltage (LV) electrical systems in accordance with NEC standards.* Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams accurately.* Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and testing devices essential for electrical installations.* Experience withconstruction site work is highly desirable.* Knowledge of fixture installation, plumbing as it relates to solar systems, and basic construction practices.* Valid electrician’s license or certification relevant to your region; additional certifications in solar or renewable energy are a plus.* Excellent problem-solving skills with a proactive approach to troubleshooting electrical issues.* Strong safety awareness with adherence to all OSHA (Occupational Safety and Health Administration) guidelines during installation activities.
