About the Role
Cranswick is a leading UK food producer with a strong commitment to sustainable and responsible farming. We are looking for an experienced Environmental Manager to support and lead environmental compliance and performance across our Farming Division.
Working within the technical team, you will be the environmental lead for our farming operations, ensuring regulatory compliance, robust environmental management systems and delivery of key sustainability objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Manage environmental compliance across farming sites, including Farm Permits, site audits and EA engagement.
* Working alongside Group Environmental, lead ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 implementation, internal audits and external certification for the farming division.
* Manage Climate Change Agreements (CCA) and support energy efficiency initiatives.
* Oversee carbon footprint reporting, environmental data entry and performance monitoring.
* Manage incinerator approvals and audits, borehole abstraction licences, and regulatory reporting.
* Oversee water and energy metering, abstraction monitoring and water testing.
* Manage water and energy usage and reporting across sites.
* Lead waste stream management, driving compliance and continuous improvement.
* Provide expert support and guidance to farm managers and operational teams.
About You
* Proven experience in an Environmental Management role, ideally within agriculture.
* Strong knowledge of environmental permitting, audits and regulatory compliance.
* Confident handling environmental, energy, water and carbon data.
