Job Description:
We have an exciting opportunity for an Estimator / Pre-Construction Surveyor to join our Lovell Renew division based at our office in Doncaster. This is a great time to join a growing business.
On a day-to-day basis, you will be responsible for the preparation and submission of comprehensive bids demonstrating the highest standards of detail and quality.
You will work closely with internal operational teams, commercial teams, and external supply chain partners to ensure that commercial opportunities are optimized and the company's position is protected. You will set the commercial strategy with our Commercial team, review opportunities, identify risks, and produce accurate, timely reports. Additionally, you will manage all tender commercial issues proactively, safeguarding the company's obligations.
We seek an Estimator with a strong understanding of the refurbishment market, ideally within the social housing sector. High attention to detail, an innovative approach to problem-solving, and effective planning to meet deadlines are essential.
The ideal candidate will be passionate about the refurbishment market, confident in building relationships with stakeholders, and adaptable to work in a solutions-focused manner to help the commercial team meet targets.
Requirements include good knowledge of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, Excel) and previous experience with estimating software such as ASTA, Evaluate, or COINS is advantageous but not essential. A current driving license is mandatory.
