The Growth Company's (GC) Justice Services is excited to offer an opportunity for a Group Delivery/Trainer within our Creating Future Opportunities (CFO) Evolution Programme. This role involves providing advice, guidance, coaching, mentoring, and support to participants through regular one-on-one meetings and group interventions. The goal is to help hard-to-reach individuals prepare for engagement with core prison services and their eventual release.

Our skilled advisers and keyworkers work with a diverse range of individuals, including those who have recently become unemployed and those facing complex barriers such as physical disabilities, mental health issues, and debt.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Resettlement Support: Provide ongoing resettlement support to participants.
2. Engagement and Case Management: Engage and case manage participants on the CFO Evolution Wing.
3. Group Sessions: Establish and deliver engaging group sessions as per the Phase 1 CFO Wing timetable to encourage attendance and completion of actions and activities.
4. Progress Monitoring: Track participants' progress through reviews to ensure high attendance, achievement, and progression.
5. Feedback and Development: Offer structured feedback and set development objectives for participants.
6. Relationship Building: Develop strong relationships with HMPPS and other agencies providing ongoing and pre-release support.
About You:
1. Work Environment: Experience working with offenders or marginalized individuals in training, guidance, advice, and counselling settings is highly desirable.
2. Guidance Skills: Proficiency in delivering high-quality one-to-one and group sessions, meeting at least Grade 2 standards.
3. Interpersonal Skills: A warm, approachable, and empathetic manner, with the ability to build rapport and support participants' progression towards education, training, employment, and desistance from crime.
Skills Required:
1. Qualifications: Information Advice and Guidance and/or teaching qualifications (or equivalent) are preferred.
2. Experience: Extensive experience supporting individuals' progression is essential.
3. Rehabilitation and Desistance: Knowledge of offender rehabilitation issues and desistance theory.
4. Work Environment: Experience working with offenders or marginalized groups in relevant settings is desirable.
5. Sector Knowledge: Familiarity with National Probation Services, HM Prison environments, and local and national training, education, and employment opportunities.
