My client based in Stonehouse, Gloucester is currently in need of a QC Inspector due to ongoing project expansions.
Job Summary:

My client are world leaders in design and manufacturing for the oil and gas, renewables, chemicals, and energy/power generation industries. They are a successful engineering business who is looking to add a skilled Quality Control Inspector to their team to support ongoing production and quality assurance activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Conduct inspections and quality assurance activities across Goods Inwards, Despatch, and Work-In-Process areas.
* Ensure materials received and despatched meet required standards and specifications.
* Use contract-specific Inspection and Test Plans (I&TPs) to inspect components, assemblies, and packages.
* Complete inspections using Faro 3D CMM and standard mechanical measurement tools.
* Perform quality assessments of painted and welded components.
* Identify and document deficiencies and non-conformances.
* Manage the instrument calibration system and maintain accurate records.
* Liaise with internal teams to resolve quality issues and support continuous improvement.
Person Specification
Education & Qualifications
* General education to GCSE/A-Level standard
* HNC/D in Mechanical Engineering, City & Guilds or equivalent
* Quality-related qualifications (e.g., CSWIP 3.0, PCN)
Experience & Knowledge
* Previous experience in a QC Inspection role within a Manufacturing or Engineering environment
* Familiarity with Metrology, Calibration, and use of Faro Arm CMM
* Understanding of manufacturing processes, engineering drawings, and relevant standards (API, ISO, PED)
