Brief Job Description
As a Semi Senior/Senior Accountant your role will involve:
* Preparation of VAT returns
* Preparation of bookkeeping services using Xero or Quickbooks from incomplete client’s records
* Preparation of business and statutory accounts under appropriate accounting standards
* Preparation of corporation and personal tax returns
* Liaising with clients over matters arising
* Advising on personal and tax liabilities
* Supervise and support more junior colleagues in their tasks
Requirements for the role
* You will be familiar with preparing statutory accounts
* Basic knowledge of corporation tax
* Some audit experience would be preferred but not essential
* Demonstrate good IT skills such as excel and other Microsoft office applications
* Confident with accounting software, preferably CCH
* Ideally you will be AAT Level 4 qualified
* Self‑motived, enthusiastic and committed
* Good communicator and a team player
* Professional and organised
