Pay Rate: £13.75 - £14.50 per hour (depending on experience)

The Role
We are looking for a compassionate and proactive SEN Teaching Assistant to provide support to pupils with additional needs in a flexible role that can accommodate part-time or full-time hours. This position offers the chance to work in classroom and in a 1:1 setting, with flexibility around your schedule to suit your lifestyle.
Key responsibilities include:
* Providing targeted support to pupils with SEN to help them access the curriculum effectively
* Assisting the class teacher with planning and delivering differentiated activities
* Implementing behaviour strategies and personal development plans
* Supporting pupils with personal care, where necessary
* Liaising with parents, SENCOs, and external professionals
* Monitoring and recording progress, contributing to reviews and reports
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience supporting children with Special Educational Needs (in a school or care setting)
* Patient, caring, and adaptable with a flexible approach to working hours
* Strong communication and teamwork skills
* Relevant qualifications (e.g., Level 2/3 Teaching Assistant, CACHE, or equivalent) are desirable but not essential
* Passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with SEN
