Minibus Driver (Term-Time Only)
We are recruiting on behalf of a highly regarded local private school for a reliable, friendly and conscientious Minibus Driver to provide a safe and professional transport service for pupils.
This important role supports students' daily journeys to and from school, ensuring they travel in a secure, comfortable and welcoming environment. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating the school minibus on scheduled routes, carrying out daily vehicle safety checks, maintaining cleanliness and presentation of the vehicle, and reporting any maintenance concerns promptly. You will also act as a positive ambassador for the school, building good relationships with pupils and upholding high standards of conduct and safeguarding at all times.
Applicants must hold a clean D1 driving licence and demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and reliability. Full uniform and training will be provided by the school.
Working hours:
Monday to Friday: 6:30am - 8:45am and 3:45pm - 6:00pm
Tuesday: 4:45pm - 7:00pm This is a term-time only role (34 weeks per year) and annual leave must be taken during school holiday periods.
Salary:
The salary for this position is £12,883 per annum, inclusive of 5.6 weeks' pro-rata holiday entitlement, based on an hourly rate of £15.90.
