ROLE

As a Retail Assistant, you will join a fantastic and energetic team of staff and volunteers.
You will be involved in sorting, recycling, pricing, gift aiding and displaying of donated goods in line with our guidance.
This position also requires competent use of the till and some financial tasks such as cashing up. You will be a keyholder and have responsibility for opening up and closing the shop, working alternating Saturdays.
Summerhall is one of our five Edinburgh shops. The purpose of our shops is to raise vital funds for our front-line services and also to play a key role in serving the local community. All of our services focus on relieving immediate suffering and meeting the long terms needs of homeless and vulnerable people in Scotland. By joining Bethany Retail, you would supporting key projects such as the Welcome Centre, Care Van, Family Support work, Housing Support and many more.
