We are seeking Trainee Cognitive Behavioural Therapists (High Intensity CBT Therapists) for our Steps 2 Wellbeing service in Rural and Urban Dorset.
The successful candidates will undertake a 12-month training course at the University of Exeter, where they will be trained to provide High Intensity Cognitive Behavioural Therapy within a stepped care model for adults with common mental health problems.
Requirements include attending training at the University two days a week, with additional block weeks each term, and managing a caseload of patients within the service three days a week. Trainees can work flexibly, with a combination of face-to-face and remote work, but must attend 100% of training days at the University.
Post-training, a Preceptorship year offers additional support, supervision, and tailored CPD opportunities.
Applicants should be available before the course start date on 6th January. There are also two university induction days on 1st and 2nd December (via Zoom) that must be attended prior to starting.
