An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Band 3 Therapy Assistant to join our friendly and supportive team at Livingstone Community Hospital in Dartford, North Kent.
Main responsibilities
* As a Therapy Assistant you will: Actively work as a member of the multi-professional team to provide a high quality of care to the patient
* Actively participate in patient’s individual rehabilitation / programmes of care under the guidance of an appropriate Therapy professional
* Provide and promote a high standard of fundamental care to patients
* Work autonomously under the guidance of the Therapist as well as part of the team

The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for an experienced, enthusiastic Therapy Assistant who has a Therapy NVQ 2/3 or Community rehab experience. It is desirable for the post holder to have a full UK driving licence and vehicle that can be used for work. You will also need to be confident using IT systems and be able to demonstrate working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages i.e. Outlook, Word, Excel and EMIS
