Your job as a Flexi-bank Support Care Worker:
What youll be doing in the community:
1. Supporting and assessing individuals within their own homes.
2. Structuring personal reablement plans tailored to their lives.
3. Supporting service users to access community opportunities.
4. Working with families, healthcare professionals and occupational therapists.
5. Prescribing and arranging equipment and assistive technology.
6. Supporting service users with their daily living skills. Including personal care, meal preparation & housekeeping
Main duties of the job
7. What youll be doing in our Nursing home:
Assisting Residents in all aspects of their care needs ( physical, emotional and spiritual). Paying particular attention to assisting residents who have limited mobility, or physical difficulties, making the best of aids available. Closely monitoring residents who may be confused, emotionally distressed or display challenging behaviour and where there is potential for verbal and physical abuse. Assisting in the promotion of continence. Assisting in the care of residents who are dying or have a progressive illness and to support their families. Ensuring full privacy and dignity is maintained at all times. Assisting in the framework of social activities by interacting with residents and helping them to continue with hobbies and activities in the Home. Assisting residents who need help during mealtimes (beware of swallowing difficulties, dietary requirements etc.)

What we will offer you:
8. Guaranteed Payment of your Contracted Hours starting from £ per hour (foundation living wage). At Corserv Careyou arealwayspaid for a full shift, even in the event of acustomer cancellation. This includes travel, and contact time, for a consistent and worry-free hourly rate.
9. Excellent Mileage Allowance, whilst working in the community:45p per mile.
10. Hours of work : Zero hours contract for bank/supply work. Our Care Managers will notify you of their bank worker cover requirements.
11. Holiday: Will be accumulated upon hours worked as per current employment legislation in relation to bank/zero hours contracts.
Or become Permanent Part Time: If you wish to change to a more fixed working pattern,then it is likely that permanent fixed hours will be available. A choice of various rotas depending on your needs between 14 to 35 hours per week permanent contracts may be available if you are claiming tax credits.
Flexible shifts patterns available AMs only, PMs only, Weekends only or even a combination. You will have a regular Week A/Week B rolling rota to help promote a healthy work-life balance, and for ease of mind.

You will need: Due to the location of some of our customers you must have a full UK driving licence and access a vehicle. Current right to work in the UK; Corserv Care is not a licensed sponsor currently we are unable to offer Certificates of Sponsorship.
