Production Team Leader, Up to £34,000 per annum + bonus + benefits, Newcastle upon Tyne, Amazing Company with Fantastic Culture, Monday to Fridays only i.e. 6am to 2pm (Week 1) and 2pm to 10pm (Week 2) 38 hour working week.
Overview of the Production Team Leader:
The purpose of the Production Team Leader is to oversee the performance of designated production areas and shifts, to ensure the production plan is met, with the highest possible efficiency and quality standards.
Production Team Leader duties:
1. Ensure correct set up and optimise materials and staffing levels, to ensure maximum efficiency to achieve the production plan
2. Proactively minimise and prevent downtime or any detrimental impact on performance, identifying any areas of improvement and escalating concerns
3. Make informed decisions in relation to the smooth running of the production floor
4. Take responsibility for the day-to-day management of Production Operative and Line Leads
5. Liaise with provider, regarding day-to-day management of agency workers
