They will act with autonomy to ensure all materials are managed in a way so that they are in the right place at the right time across the UEL sites and the remote store, ultimately managing all stores and warehousing operational processes, overseeing a team of over 30 individuals, as well as managing UEL-owned assets and resources. The postholder will also deliver service improvement and development as the company grows and expands. Detailed job description and main responsibilities This post holder will lead the supplies and materials team, alongside the head of supply, with specific responsibility for supply to specialist departments at Southampton General Hospital, the Hampshire Orthopaedic Centre at the Royal Hampshire County Hospital and the UEL Warehouse at Eastleigh. The ability to travel between sites is essential. Demonstrable supply chain management experience is also essential, preferably within the NHS or healthcare sector.
