Restaurant Manager – Marmalade Hotel & Chargrill Restaurant, Portree, Isle of Skye
Permanent | Full-time (45 hours per week, 5 days across Monday–Sunday)
We are seeking an experienced and passionate Restaurant Manager to lead the team at The Marmalade Hotel and Chargrill Restaurant in Portree.
Reporting to the Food & Beverage Manager, you will oversee the restaurant and breakfast teams, working closely with the Head Chef to deliver an outstanding dining experience. Alongside ensuring the highest standards of guest service, you will be responsible for recruitment, training, and development of the front-of-house team.
This is a guest-facing leadership role, ideal for someone who is service-driven, solutions-focused, and takes pride in creating memorable dining experiences. Familiarity with Resdiary, Lightspeed, TrustYou, and Rotacloud is desirable but not essential.

* Lead and manage the front-of-house team in partnership with the Food & Beverage Manager
* Ensure smooth and exceptional service during breakfast and dinner service
* Support, train, and motivate the team to deliver consistently high standards
* Maintain strong guest relations, ensuring every guest leaves delighted
* Oversee cleanliness, hygiene, and organisation within the department
* Uphold health & safety and food allergen compliance
