Recruitment Officer (Part-Time) - Wednesbury Training Centre

Salary: £26,000 - £28,000 (FTE) + OTE

Hours: Part-time (2.5 days per week)

Contract: Maternity Cover

About The Role

We are looking for a dynamic and engaging Recruitment Officer to join our Wednesbury Training Centre. In this role, you'll play a vital part in recruiting students onto our training programmes, ensuring they receive the guidance and support they need to achieve their goals.

Your Key Responsibilities Will Include

* Actively recruiting students through outreach, networking, and marketing activities
* Building strong relationships with local agencies, schools, and other referral sources
* Promoting Juniper pathways and Apprenticeships through career events, recruitment fairs, and pop-up shops
* Using social media to raise Juniper's profile and attract students
* Interviewing potential students and completing accurate paperwork
* Identifying support needs and creating initial support plans to ensure students thrive
* Ensuring our Telford centre meets its student recruitment targets

What We’re Looking For: We're seeking someone who is:

* Confident and outgoing with excellent communication skills
* Motivated and goal-driven with experience in sales, outreach, or marketing
* Organised and proactive with strong time-management skills
* Able to build rapport with young people and guide them on their career journey
* Familiar with using social media platforms to promote services and engage potential students

Qualifications & Experience:Essential:

* Minimum of Level 2 English and Maths
* Experience in outreach, sales, marketing, or recruitment
* Strong communication and organisational skills

Desirable

* CEIAG Level 3/4 qualification
* Experience working in education/training
* Experience working with 16-18-year-olds
