Job Overview
To grow Stryker's Joint Replacement business by promoting Hip and Knee products to Orthopaedic Surgeons and optimizing customer service, growing existing accounts through technical expertise.
The Product Support Specialist – Manual & Robotic provides clinical product support to end users along with guidance and assistance during Mako surgical procedures.
This role requires flexibility and mobility to support multiple territories over two regions for the first 12 months, after which the candidate will focus on one team and region.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
1. Demonstrate outstanding ethics, treat customers and employees with respect, and represent the company positively.
2. Communicate the benefits of products and their clinical applications.
3. Act with integrity and deliver on commitments within required timescales.
4. Construct a basic business plan with input from a mentor/manager and plan daily, weekly, and monthly activities.
5. Develop rapport and understand customer needs using open questioning techniques; utilize knowledge of key brands to open sales opportunities.
6. Understand stakeholder decision-making processes and ask appropriate questions to identify stakeholders.
7. Work under supervision, keep supervisors informed, and achieve results that generally do not significantly impact revenue or budget.
8. Achieve sales targets and KPIs, plan and prioritize activities, and support customer growth and retention.
9. Support existing customers to maintain satisfaction and collaborate with the Sales Team and other departments.
10. Develop strategies to strengthen Stryker’s market position, communicate effectively with customers, and analyze market conditions.
11. Address customer challenges, participate in organizational meetings, and manage customer data using CRM tools.
12. Serve as front-line clinical and technical support during surgical procedures, train surgeons and staff on the Mako robot, and troubleshoot technical issues.
13. Partner with Field Service to resolve issues, expand knowledge of Stryker products, and educate users on clinical benefits.
14. Complete necessary training and certifications for robotic and manual procedures.
15. Develop skills to cover complex hip and knee procedures confidently.
