* Proven experience (7 Years) in procurement management, preferably in a leadership role.
* Strong negotiation and contract management skills.
* Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
* Proficient in procurement software and tools.
* Strong leadership and team management skills.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
* Knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements related to procurement.
Desirable:
* Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
Job Responsibilities
* Develop and implement procurement strategies and pricing structures to optimise efficiency and identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
* Forecast procurement needs and industry trends to ensure uninterrupted operations.
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and vendors.
* Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to ensure favorable terms.
* Evaluate and monitor supplier performance and compliance with contractual obligations.
* Develop and enforce procurement policies and procedures.
* Ensure compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
* Monitor and manage risks associated with procurement activities.
* Manage the procurement budget, ensuring expenditures align with financial goals.
* Monitor cost performance and implement corrective actions as needed.
* Prepare and present regular reports on procurement activities and financial performance.
* Streamline procurement processes to enhance efficiency and reduce cycle times.
* Utilise procurement software and tools to optimise operations.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure procurement supports overall organizational efficiency.
