Let us tell you a bit about the opportunity
We’re looking for a proactive and self‑motivated External Auditor to join our Motor Finance team. This is a field‑based role covering the South East, where you’ll take ownership of your own dealer portfolio, schedule and complete onsite audits, and play a key role in protecting MotoNovo’s financial security.

You’ll use your analytical thinking, relationship‑building skills and sector knowledge to identify risks, provide clear insights, and work closely with dealers and internal teams to strengthen controls and improve performance.

What will your day look like?
You’ll be:
* Managing your own portfolio of Unit Stocking / Dealer Funding accounts across the South East, taking ownership of relationships, risk and ongoing performance.
* Planning and delivering onsite dealer audits and stock checks to ensure funded vehicles are secure, accurately reported and compliant with policy.
* Proactively assessing risk indicators, identifying emerging concerns within dealer funding facilities and escalating issues early where required.
* Acting as a subject matter expert for Dealer Funding, using market and dealer insight to support product development, controls and long‑term improvement.
* Building strong, trusted relationships with dealer partners, field teams and head office colleagues, providing clear, constructive feedback to support sound risk decisions.
* Producing clear insights on portfolio performance, risk concentration and trends, while effectively planning your own workload, travel and overnights in a risk‑based way.
What do we expect from you?
* Understanding of the Motor Dealer Funding sector.
* Experience in audit, stock control or credit control.
* Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships with dealers and internal stakeholders.
* Clear and confident written and verbal communication skills.
* Experience delivering operational controls and accurately interpreting risk indicators.
* A full UK driving licence.
* Please note: In line with our driving policy, we can only progress applications from candidates with a maximum of 6 driving licence points
