Role Overview
Teacher of Drama at Craigmount High School, a six-year non‑denominational secondary school in north‑west Edinburgh. Salary: £35,022‑£52,740. Hours: 35 per week.
Craigmount High School offers a dynamic environment with a strong focus on attainment, enrichment and pastoral care. The school has a teaching staff of approximately 104 FTE and a support team of over 25.
Responsibilities
As a member of our staff you will be expected to exercise a style that reflects the school’s aims and values, promote a positive ethos of achievement, foster strong links with parents and the wider community, and develop the work of the school appropriately.
Qualifications
This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. If you have spent a continuous period of 3 months or more outside the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. The unconditional offer of employment will be subject to these checks being deemed satisfactory.
Salaries will be in accordance with the Scheme of Salaries and Conditions of Service for Teaching Staff in School Education.
