Customer Assistant - Cafe - Cowes Simply Food
Join our team at M&S as a Customer Assistant in our café, where you\'ll become a champion of our delightful food and drink offerings, offers, and services. We are seeking passionate individuals who take pride in their knowledge of the latest food and drink trends and are eager to share it with our customers.
Working pattern: Sunday 14:00-18:00, Monday 06:30-10:30, Saturday 18:00-22:00
Role goal: Be a brand ambassador who promotes the café menu and delivers remarkable service so that customers feel valued every time they shop with us.
Responsibilities
* Serve customers efficiently on the shop floor and at service points, delivering high standards of service and product presentation.
* Utilise digital tools (digital menus, in-store devices) to enhance the customer experience and help customers find products they want.
* Promote and sell café offerings, provide product recommendations, and share knowledge of trends with customers.
* Maintain cleanliness, food safety, and hygiene standards; work with pace and accuracy to meet store standards.
* Collaborate with colleagues to create an inclusive café environment and support store priorities.
* Flexibly work across different store areas as needed to meet changing demands.
* Actively collect and share customer and colleague feedback to drive improvements.
* Own learning and development, including access to digital learning solutions.
