Role Overview
IFS is seeking a strategic and results-driven Senior Social Media Manager to lead the evolution of our global social media presence. This role is focused on shaping and advancing our strategy, optimising channel performance, and ensuring social delivers measurable business impact.
With a social content manager already in place to support day-to-day execution, you’ll focus on direction, performance, and innovation, aligning stakeholders, driving integrated campaigns, and ensuring IFS’s brand and thought leadership are represented consistently and effectively across platforms.
This role is ideal for individuals with experience in creative industries or a media background. We seek candidates who can offer fresh perspectives and innovative approaches to enhance our social media strategies.
The successful candidate will use expertise, collaboration, and creativity to help manage and deliver IFS's social media messages, content, and best practices to the company’s key regions, enabling them to implement effective awareness-driving social media programs which resonate locally while aligning with corporate goals.
Key Responsibilities
Channel Strategy & Performance
1. Own the global social media strategy across LinkedIn, YouTube, Instagram, and emerging platforms, that aligns with IFS's corporate communication goals.
2. Oversee the management of IFS's social media platforms, including the advocacy program and platform strategy.
3. Ensure quality control of content shared via IFS social media channels, maintaining consistency with the brand voice and style guidelines.
4. Define and track KPIs tied to awareness, engagement, thought leadership, and pipeline influence.
5. Use insights, social listening, and A/B testing to continuously optimise and innovate.
6. Monitor platform trends and competitor activity to keep IFS’s presence relevant and differentiated.
Campaign Integration & Stakeholder Engagement
7. Partner with PR, brand, demand generation, product marketing, and regional teams to align social strategy with business priorities.
8. Amplify campaigns, executive thought leadership, and employee advocacy programs across channels.
9. Represent social media in cross-functional planning, bringing data-driven recommendations to shape campaigns.
Leadership & Governance
10. Lead agency relationships, regional collaboration, and cross-functional alignment.
11. Own the relationship with social media platform provider (, Oktopost)
12. Guide and mentor the social content manager and other contributors to ensure consistency and quality.
13. Oversee governance of tools (, Oktopost), workflows, brand voice, and compliance.
14. Present quarterly performance reviews and actionable insights to senior stakeholders.
Qualifications
Skills & Experience
15. Experienced in social media management, ideally in B2B tech or SaaS.
16. Proven track record of building and executing social strategies that drive measurable business outcomes.
17. Strong analytical skills and experience translating data into actionable insights.
18. Expertise with social media management and analytics tools (, Oktopost, Sprout, Hootsuite).
19. Excellent collaboration and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence senior leaders.
20. Comfortable briefing creative teams and managing agency partners.
21. Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach when needed.
22. Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or related field; or certifications a plus.
