It's all about you:
We're open-minded regarding your background, but you should be an electrical professional interested in a testing & inspection career as an engineering surveyor. Prior experience in such a role isn't required, but testing & inspection experience is necessary. We invest heavily in your development, aiming for progression to ATEX & COMPEX certifications, and eventually chartered status through our partnership with the IET.
Qualifications such as a full electrical apprenticeship, Level 3, HNC, or higher are preferred. The right personality and motivation for further training and career advancement are key.
The role:
Once trained, you will test and inspect electrical equipment in service, ensuring proper operation.
The work spans various sectors, including manufacturing, quarries, power plants, marine, agriculture, and airports, primarily focusing on industrial, commercial, and heavy industrial environments. As you gain more training and experience, you'll handle more complex sites, with opportunities for ongoing development.
